The RK-1 PLASMA Knee Brace is anatomically designed for all types of off-road riding, providing lightweight, breathable, and comfortable knee support without compromising protection. It features a Nucleon PLASMA knee protector housed within an innovative hybrid frame—a flexible composite over-injected on a high-performance polymer blend—offering excellent frame rigidity with flexibility at the upper and lower strap areas. Sold as a pair, this brace delivers optimal structural integrity while reducing the risk of injuries to the medial and lateral collateral ligaments, anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, as well as the lateral and medial meniscus.

The brace uses replaceable triple-segmented knee cups with a polyurethane outer shell backed by the viscoelastic Nucleon PLASMA protector, providing an ideal combination of impact resistance, flexibility, and scratch protection. Its self-centering knee cup and strategically placed upper and lower patella extensions ensure maximum coverage across all knee flexion and extension angles. The slim, four-point hinge system closely follows knee articulation and includes extension stops adjustable between 0 to 30 degrees for customized maximum opening. Stainless-steel bushings in the hinge system are treated for oxidation resistance.

The Nucleon PLASMA material, derived from USDA certified bio-based polymers, is pliable in all directions and efficiently dissipates impact energy while being lightweight and highly ventilated. Soft-touch thermoformed padding provides comfort and secure fit, with replaceable pads available for customization. Four individual straps with non-slip backing and high tensile strength, yet flexible buckles with a keyhole snapping system, keep the brace securely in place during riding.
