Alpinestars' Tech-Air MX is an advanced airbag system developed specifically for motocross and supercross riders, leveraging decades of airbag technology expertise from MotoGP and Dakar Rally.

Featuring a sophisticated AI-driven activation algorithm designed to respond rapidly and accurately in the dynamic and challenging conditions of MX and Supercross riding, such as jumps, ruts, berms, and whoops. The Tech-Air® MX System comes pre-loaded with four riding modes: MX, MX RACE, ENDURO, and RALLY, each with tailored crash detection. The airbag inflates in around 40 milliseconds upon detecting a crash, delivering superior protection to the chest, back, and shoulders. Compatible with various apparel, it can be worn over or under clothing. The system includes a single gas inflator for one deployment that must be replaced afterward, with a quick-release cover for easy replacement where permitted. It provides up to 30 hours of use per full charge and features simple activation via magnetic detection of the left buckle. Integrated sensors in the ECU monitor rider motion to trigger deployment only when necessary, delivering over four times more protection than passive protectors.
