The Dainese Racing 5 Leather Jacket is the latest evolution of the brand’s best-selling Racing jacket, designed for riders who travel in warm and summer conditions and want a regular yet sporty fit. Crafted from premium 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide leather with S1 bi-elastic fabric, it delivers durability, flexibility, and freedom of movement. Particular attention has been given to ergonomics, with studies on riding position leading to features such as the Veloce Racing Neck collar to reduce pressure on the neck, wide S1 stretch panels for enhanced mobility, and waist adjustment for a tailored fit. The sleeves are designed to maintain correct protector positioning during a fall, helping ensure consistent protection.

Certified to EN 17092 Class AA, the Racing 5 offers high levels of safety with composite protectors certified to EN 1621.1 Level 2 on the shoulders and elbows, as well as replaceable aluminium shoulder inserts that promote a more natural sliding motion in the event of a fall. It includes pockets for G1 and G2 back protectors and a Double Chest protector. The jacket is predisposed to be worn over the Dainese Smart Air™ airbag system without requiring a larger size, and dedicated loops secure the airbag in place for correct positioning and easy on-and-off use.

Comfort across varying conditions is enhanced by two air vents on the chest, two rear extraction zip vents, and a practical internal waterproof pocket for storing electronic devices during wet weather.
