Dririder Explorer Jacket - Light Grey / Black

Take the adventure off-road with the level of protection you need for Australian trails. The Explorer jacket is constructed of 600D Ripstop polyester with high density dobby Ripstop in the high impact areas. Ripstop's crosshatch reinforcement construction gives it excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance, and is designed to be highly resistant to tears. This makes it a hardy jacket for all environments but has the flexibility required for tackling terrain. It has two removable liners, one thermal liner for cold weather and a Reissa waterproof/breathable liner. This liner is adequately rated to prevent excess water from penetrating the jacket material, while also being breathable to allow hot air produced by your body to escape the inner layers of the jacket so you don't overheat.

Under the dobby Ripstop you'll find CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows, as well as a high density back protector to mitigate spinal injuries in the event of a crash. This can be upgraded to a CE Level 2 back protector for maximium protection. For additional peace of mind, the jacket utilises ISO rated safety seams ensuring they stay together no matter the abrasion and impact.

Large ventilation panels in the chest allow air flow into the jacket, while the rear of the jacket can unzip to expose large vents to extract hot air; this channelled ventilation is key to thermal regulation. Ventilation on the arms is accessed by lockable zips. A comfortable and secure fit is guaranteed with dual arm and waist adjusters, while action stretch material in the shoulders and elbows allow free movement on the bike. Reflective print will ensure you're easily seen on or off-road at night time.
