For maximum protection and flexibility on the bike, the Nordic V is primarily constructed of Ripstop 600D material, which utilises a crosshatch reinforcement construction giving it excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance, and is designed to be highly resistant to tears. This highly abrasion resistant material is enhanced with matte cowhide leather in the knees, adding extra protection to high impact areas. CE Level 2 armour in the knees ensure impact protection and EVA padding on the hips helps reduce the effects of an impact.

Made for warmer seasons but suitable all year round, the Nordic V has a removable full length thermal liner and Dri-Tex waterproof and breathable liner. It is adequately capable of preventing excess water from penetrating the pants material, while also being breathable to allow hot air produced by your body to escape the inner layers of the pants so you don't overheat. When the liners are out, the soft mesh lining is comfortable on the skin.

Ventilation is important on longer, warm rides which is why there's large mesh panels in the thigh hidden behind zippers. Stretch panels in the waist, thigh, crotch and knees means riders are kept comfortable when in all riding positions. A double layer seat helps ward away riding pain for long days in the saddle. The pants feature 3M reflective print for better visibility without affecting its styling.
