The RX4 jacket is constructed of a heavy duty 450D Ripstop polyester with ballistic fabric in all high impact areas. Ripstop's crosshatch reinforcement construction giving it excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance, and is designed to be highly resistant to tears. This makes it a hardy jacket for all environments but has the flexibility required for tackling terrain. It has two removable liners, one thermal liner for cold weather and a waterproof/breathable liner that doubles as a destination jacket. This liner is adequately rated to prevent excess water from penetrating the jacket material, while also being breathable to allow hot air produced by your body to escape the inner layers of the jacket so you don't overheat. It's designed to be a comfortable after-ride jacket so you can let your RX4 gear breathe at the end of the day.
Under the ballistic protected areas you'll find CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows, as well as a high density back protector to mitigate spinal injuries in the event of a crash. This can be upgraded to a CE Level 2 back protector for maximium protection.
