The Hema Maps HX-M1 Motorbike GPS Smart Navigator is a robust navigation solution for motorcycle tourers, SxS users, and riders exploring both sealed roads and remote tracks. It is preloaded with detailed Australian and New Zealand road and off-road mapping, including coverage of 75 million kilometres of roads and tracks and access to more than 1.8 million points of interest such as campsites, fuel stops, and caravan parks. The system provides on-road, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions as well as off-road track guidance, route plotting, waypoint management, track recording, map customisation, and offline map support. Day and night display modes, along with quarterly Wi-Fi map and software updates, help keep navigation clear and current. Riders can also access Hema’s Digital Print Map Library and Memory-Map integration, although a separate subscription may be required for some map content.
Built for demanding riding conditions, the HX-M1 features a 6.2-inch IPS touchscreen designed for sunlight visibility and wet-weather operation, plus a weather-resistant housing and vibration- and shock-resistant mounting system. A separate GPS antenna supports location tracking, while Bluetooth and Smart Monitor App Control enable wireless access to compatible smartphone functions such as navigation, calls, messages, music, and podcasts. The handlebar controller allows selected functions to be operated without taking hands off the bars. The unit also supports front and rear Full HD camera footage where compatible equipment is fitted, and its 3D G-sensor is designed to automatically save footage if an incident is detected.
