King tyres are an entry level tyre for those riders not demanding the performance of a premium tyre; they will satisfy the grip, handling and stability needs of a casual or everyday rider in all riding conditions while meeting a budget.

King tyres are produced as a radial tyre, a manufacturing technique considered to be the benchmark for today’s motorcycles. The 0° steel belted design uses continuous steel cord to form a belt around the circumference, which is threaded in the direction of the tyres’ travel. This forms the carcass and profile of the  tyre, allowing rigidity with enough flexibility for grip and feedback.

The King tyre range includes multiple compounds to suit varying applications, from extra soft to endurance, and each are designed for a specific purpose. For example, the sport range uses a dual compound for maintaining straight line stability and enhanced grip at maximium lean angles; the inclusion of silica delivers better fuel efficiency and wet grip. Conversely their racing tyres utilise a silica compound to improve wet slip resistance and provide the best performance from the start of the warm up.
