Boris is a verifiable shit-magnet,and if shit is gonna happen, it will happen to him. How he is not dead is a miracle. How he is not in jail is certainly down to good lawyers and sheerluck. His life-choices have never been very good, but he can certainly laugh at his own expense. And you will too. Because the heart of comedy is the misfortune that befalls other people.
