About ROK Straps

ROK Straps were developed by an Australian engineer Gary McKay. During his university studies into eye injuries, Gary became aware of the high number of serious eye injuries caused by worn or broken elasticated cords and bungie straps. He formed ROK STRAPS P/L in Australia 25 years ago to design and manufacture safer straps using a new design of solid rubber shock-cord with a tight nylon outer braid. This innovative design has significantly less recoil if released under tension, and is therefore much safer. ROK Straps patented designs have inherently superior design qualities which make them safer, stronger, longer lasting as well as being quicker to use than other straps on the market.
